Blogging about conventions
There is one good thing about forgetfulness – one can get excited by something more than once. Last year I did a hike from Ustroń to Wisła. Once I reached my destination, I saw an information about a historic villa called Ochorowiczówka. It was a home for a Museum of Magical Realism. Yet it was too late (and I was too tired) to see it. Then I forgot about the museum – I just recalled the villa being there.
In July I had the chance to visit Background exhibition at Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Kraków. Now in the middle of September I came to see it again and I also participated in one of the events accompanying it. As it is something that strongly resonates with my geeky heart I decided to write about the whole experience.
When I was in Brussels for the first time (for less than a day), I realized that there was a place I needed to visit to satisfy my geekiness, but it had already already too late to do it then. When it had occurred that I would have the opportunity to visit Brussels again, I decided that it was time to check what else it had to offer. And I found out that there are more interesting places to see in this city.
